SHIPPING POLICY

Once an order is placed, a sales representative will be in touch to confirm any aspects not already confirmed. Once the order is confirmed, Outdoor Kitchen Islands will aim to deliver the good within a 4-6 week period. If the goods are ready to dispatch prior to this timeframe, we will contact you to organise early shipping if required.

All items will be delivered via a 3rd party courier and delivery will be 'kerbside pallet delivery'.

​

Please ensure you have space to receive the delivery lorry and the pallet.

​

It will be your responsibility to remove the packaging, lift the Outdoor Kitchen Island off of the pallet and wheel/carry into position and to then discard the pallet and packaging.

​

If you are based in a city, please ensure there are no:

  • Daytime restrictions for delivery vehicles

  • Parking restrictions

  • Weight limits

  • Time limits

  • Bus lanes

  • Pedestrian only areas

If you live in the country, please ensure there are no:

  • Overhanging trees or obstructions

  • Soft or uneven surfaces

  • Narrow lanes

The delivery courier operates under a kerbside delivery policy. The driver is under no obligation to move or unpack the Outdoor Kitchen Island inside the property. It will be delivered “kerbside” to your driveway.

When unloading the Outdoor Kitchen Island from the vehicle, the driver cannot be expected to move the Outdoor Kitchen Island on the hand pallet truck over uneven, sloping, shingled, or graveled surfaces. Please ensure there is easy flat access to your driveway.

CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS

These rights during the ‘Cooling off period’ and other rights or obligations only apply to consumers and not to business buyers.

As a consumer you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 working days from the date of delivery. To do so you must notify us in writing (preferably email to sales@outdoorkitchenislands.co.uk) as soon as possible. The products must then be returned within 14 days.

If the ordered products have not been despatched by us at the time of cancellation we will refund to you all the monies paid by you within 28 days.

​

All orders that have been despatched, whether in transit, or that have been delivered, that you require to be cancelled will incur an administration and restocking/collection charge. Please call our customer service department to discuss or arrange so that you have chance to reconsider once you know what these charges are.

Any goods returned by you, using transport arranged by you must be returned to us in and “as new” saleable condition and within 14 days of receipt by you and we reserve the right to check on arrival back at our premises that there is no damage or missing parts. Any cost of replacing damaged or missing parts will be deducted from any monies owed. We offer a chargeable collection service, where responsibility for any returns damages, or missing items is borne by us. However the product will be inspected by us before loading onto our vehicle.

Any Cancelled orders placed for bespoke made to measure products will be charged at the full sales price.

​

If the product is received by you and has any damage to the outer packaging then this must be noted when signing the carrier’s delivery note or hand held computer. If you take delivery and find any items damaged or missing within the packaging then please report this in writing within 48 hours of delivery and send through photos to sales@outdoorkitchenislands.co.uk so that appropriate action can be agreed.
